There will also be lectures to be held in the Sala Ponce of the School of Music and Dance of Monterrey in which there will be renowned figures such as Isabel Garcia, Abel Garcia, René de la Garza and Guillermo Diego.

Director of the Teatro de la Ciudad de Monterrey, Roberto Villarreal, considered that the presence of leading guitarists represents a great support for students and musicians of the state who seek to approach other forms of creation, besides the public enjoys other countries’ proposals.

The opening concert is hosted by Duet Katona Twins, from Hungary, which will be presented on March 24th at 8:30 pm in the Gran Sala del Teatro de la Ciudad.

The official said that for the first time, the festival will also have a presence in the town of Santiago, where the Russian guitarist Irina Kulikova will offer a free entry concert in the Auditorium of Villa de Santiago on Sunday, March 26th

"This seeks to decentralize access to cultural goods and services of neoloneses citizens in their communities”, Roberto Villareal said
